FAQ
Questions we hear most.
Why a porch plunge instead of an enclosed one?
The Retreat is designed for the walk between heat and cold. Open-air means the body meets the weather. If your climate makes that impractical year-round, the Enclosed Plunge upgrade ($4,500) wraps the porch plunge to extend the season.
Plumbing requirements?
Hot and cold water rough-ins to the porch shower. Not optional for this layout. Your GC coordinates with our drawings.
Electrical?
240V · 50A dedicated sub-panel. Sauna, chiller, and lighting on separate circuits. RCD protected.
Foundation?
Level pad, concrete, stone, or compacted gravel with helical piers. ~136 sq ft.
Climate compatibility?
All-season in temperate zones. Sub-zero markets should add the Enclosed Plunge upgrade for winter use.
